Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A video conference meeting on priority tasks in the field of investment, export and international cooperation for 2024 is being chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The head of state criticized the state of affairs in the field of investment and exports.

During the meeting, it was announced the dismissal of Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade Badriddin Abidov

The head of the Agency for Technical Regulation, Dilshod Sattarov, was also fired.

They were dismissed from their positions for shortcomings in their work.

Deputy Prime Minister for Investments and Foreign Economic Relations Jamshid Khojaev faces dismissal if he does not take measures to improve the situation by the end of the quarter.

The Prime Minister was instructed to take disciplinary measures against the deputy khokims for investment issues of Andijan, Bukhara, Kashkadarya and Navoi regions, as well as 10 khokims of districts and cities.
