Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekneftegaz is carrying out large-scale work to increase natural gas production at the fields and increase hydrocarbon reserves. This was reported by the press service of Uzbekneftegaz.

In particular, new wells are drilled during well workover operations, and those that are in the complex of completed wells are put into operation after comprehensive workover.

Drilling was also successfully completed in well No. 68 at the Kulbeshkak gas condensate field, owned by the Gazliysky OGPD of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.

After completion of drilling in the well, perforation work was carried out at the intervals 1886-1883m, 1881-1878m and 1870-1866m.

Drilling work was carried out by specialists of Uzneftgaz Burgulash Ishlari LLC.

After the development of the well, 70,000 cubic meters of industrial natural gas and 1 ton of gas condensate were produced per day.

The Kulbeshkak field is located in Karakol district of Bukhara region and has been in operation since 2008. The well is currently connected to the pipeline of the Uchkir gas processing plant.
