Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting was held with the participation of the management of Uzbekneftegaz JSC and the German company SAP. This meeting is organized in accordance with a memorandum of understanding signed between the companies in 2023.

The “Road Map” approved by the government for the implementation of the signed agreements reached during the visit of the Head of our country to Germany last year provides for the implementation of an ERP system based on the integrated SAP system at Uzbekneftegaz JSC.

It is worth noting that the implementation of the ERP system will ensure maximum integration of organizations under the jurisdiction of the Company in order to achieve the best financial result. A unified system will eliminate errors associated with the human factor when transmitting information.

To ensure the fulfillment of this task, the Company’s specialists studied the experience of implementing the SAP BPC (Business planning and consolidation) system, which was implemented in the UZSANOATQURILISHBANK JSCB. The functions and capabilities of SAP PI/PO (Process Integration/Process Orchestration) were also studied and compared with solutions from other international companies.

A working group consisting of specialists from Uzbekneftegaz JSC studied the possibilities of introducing modules “SAP” PM (Plant Maintenance) - maintenance and repair, “SAP” FI (Financial Accounting) - financial management, “SAP” MDG (Master Data Governance) - centralized data management.

Together with representatives of SAP in Uzbekistan, a project roadmap was developed. Currently, work is underway to determine the organizational and functional scope of technical specifications for an ERP system based on SAP.

The agenda of the meeting includes issues of responsibility of the parties for the implementation of the ERP system within the scope of their competence.

During the conversation, representatives of the SAP company presented information on the results achieved on global industrial trends.

At the end of the meeting, ways to resolve relevant issues regarding the implementation of the ERP system in the Company were discussed.
