Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A new residential complex named "New Uzbekistan" is planned to be built in the Akhangaran district of Tashkent region, according to the press service of the regional khokimiyat.
The project will be implemented on the territory of the "Uzbekistan" mahalla and will occupy an area of 36 hectares. According to the plans, from 2026 to 2029, 30 seven-story and 51 nine-story buildings will be constructed in this area, providing a total of 3,784 apartments.
The ground floors of the multi-story buildings will be designated for non-residential spaces, which will allow them to be used for commercial purposes.
In addition to residential buildings, the project also includes the construction of other facilities. Specifically, a school for 1,500 students, a kindergarten for 1,500 children, a family medical center, a business center, and a congress hall will be built.
The area will also feature a parking lot.
