Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In order to further develop domestic tourism for the population of Uzbekistan and foreign tourists, in the city of Khiva, Uztemiryolyolovchi is implementing a project involving the construction of three modern hotels.

Today, the opening ceremony of one of the hotels, which belong to Khiva-Lokomotiv and is literally within walking distance to the architectural landmark of Ichan-Kala, took place.

The new 2-storey hotel includes 41 rooms (2-3 local and VIP rooms) and is designed for 76 beds. For the convenience of tourists, the location was originally planned near the railway station. The authors of the project created all conditions here at the level of world standards.

There is an indoor pool and sauna, and there is a modern restaurant. It is noteworthy that Ichan-Kala is within walking distance of hotels and tourists can walk to this unique place. And for those hotel guests who wish to explore the ancient city in another way, free electric car and horse drawn cart services are provided.

Today it is the second hotel in Khiva, built by Uztemiryolyolovchi. In March 2019, the first Khiva-Lokomotiv hotel was put into operation, with a capacity of 70 beds. During this period, the hotel provided services to about 6,000 people. Currently, as part of the project of Uztemiryolyolovchi, construction of another hotel is ongoing, which is designed for 84 beds.

Here, with the efforts of railway builders, the construction of a new leisure park, Khiva-Lokomotiv, continues. The total area of the park zone will occupy 10 hectares. 22 types of various modern attractions will be installed here.

The territory will be landscaped, it is planned to plant more than 2500 decorative trees and shrubs, as well as about 15 species of flowers, pleasing the eyes of visitors and decorating the area. Along with this, three musical fountains with illuminated illumination will be built here. Here, as part of the project, the construction of an amphitheater with a capacity of 500 seats and an artificial one is planned.
