Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Javlonbek Umarkhojaev has been appointed acting chairman of the board of Uzbekistan Airports JSC.

According to the relevant decision of the general meeting of shareholders of the company, the employment contract concluded with the chairman of the board of Uzbekistan Airports JSC Rano Juraeva was terminated.

Javlonbek Umarkhojaev has served as First Deputy Chairman of the Board for Operations since 2021,

In 2008, he began his career at the National Airline "O’zbekiston havo yo’llari", in 2009-2018, he was head of the Aviation Security Department of the NAC.

In 2018-2021, he worked as Deputy Head of the Capital Construction Directorate - Technical Director for the implementation of the Tashkent-Vostochny project of O’zbekiston temir yo’llari JSC.
