Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Previously, there were no industrial facilities in this area. Now, cotton alone is used to produce yarn, fabrics, ready-made clothes, cottonseed oil, soap, feed, and dozens of other products.

Bukhara Azteks is one of such modern enterprises. A full cycle of growing and deep processing of cotton has been established here. The degree of localization reached 100 percent.

The cost of the project is US$8.7 million. Equipment from Japan, Germany and Turkey has been installed. More than a thousand people have been provided with jobs.

The enterprise produces 16 million finished garments per year, 50 percent of this volume is planned to be supplied to the foreign market.

It is noteworthy that solar panels are installed on the roof of the enterprise. The President pointed out to responsible persons the need to increase such modern enterprises and ensure employment of the population.
