Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In accordance with the third direction of the Five initiatives put forward by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan - creating conditions for the wide and effective use of computer technologies by the population and youth, attracting young people to entrepreneurship in the field of information technology by the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications Together with state authorities, Digital Technology Training Centers continue to be created throughout the republic.

In this regard, on 31 August, a modern IT center was opened in the city of Karshi. The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister for Development of Information Technologies and Communications Bakhromjon Olmatov.

Also, the heads of the territorial administration of the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications, subordinate enterprises and organizations in Kashkadarya region, district activists and regional youth took part in the opening ceremony of the IT center in the city of Karshi.

In the IT center, young people aged 7 to 30 will improve their computer literacy free of charge. Those who successfully complete the courses will be awarded certificates. The training center provides training in information and communication technologies, robotics and e-sports.

The opening of the IT center became a memorable gift for the youth of the region in connection with the celebration of the 29th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
