Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The capital of Kyrgyzstan hosts a judo championship for the continents of Asia-Oceania. As part of this competition, the heads of the judo federations of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan signed a memorandum of cooperation.
To observe the competition, the deputy chairman of the NOC, chairman of the judo federation of Uzbekistan Azizjon Kamilov left for Bishkek. Today Azizjon Kamilov met with his counterpart from Kyrgyzstan - Zholdashbek Kolbaev. During the conversation, A. Kamilov congratulated the hosts of the championship on the holding of the competition at the proper level. Also, during the meeting, the officials signed a memorandum of cooperation.
According to the signed memorandum, during preparation for major competitions, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan will further strengthen friendly ties, and joint training camps will be organized. During the event, the parties discussed the development and strengthening of friendly relations in the field of sports.
At the end of the meeting, Azizjon Kamilov presented gifts from the Uzbekistan Judo Federation to the President of the Asian Judo Federation Obaid Al Anzi and Zholdashbek Kolbaev.
