Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 14 August 2020, a memorandum of cooperation in tourism was signed between the Tourism Development Department of Namangan Region and the Tourism Development Center of Sverdlovsk Region of the Russian Federation.

This memorandum, signed by the head of the Tourism Development Department of Namangan Region Dilmurod Djumabaev and the director of the Tourism Development Center of the Sverdlovsk Region Elmira Tukanova, is based on the Cooperation Agreement signed in November 2019 between the khokimiyat of the Namangan Region and the government of the Sverdlovsk Region in trade, economic, scientific and technical, social and other spheres.

According to the memorandum, the regions will exchange information and experience in the field of tourism, attract mutual investment in the tourism sector, promote and sell tourism products and cooperate in training. To achieve the goals set in this memorandum, a joint roadmap is being developed.
