Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 14 January 2025, Deputy Minister of Mining and Geology of Uzbekistan, A. Kadirkhojayev, met with the Ambassador of Italy to Uzbekistan, Piergabriele Papadia de Bottini.

The meeting focused on the further development of the Tashkent branch of the University of Pisa, strengthening bilateral cooperation in the mining sector, and the implementation of joint scientific projects.

The Italian Ambassador highlighted Uzbekistan’s significant potential in mineral resource extraction and praised the accomplishments of the Tashkent branch of the University of Pisa. He emphasized the need to explore opportunities for introducing new academic programs at the branch.
