Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 17 May, a meeting was held with a delegation of South Korea headed by the director of UAIDE, Lee Beom-hee. The meeting was also attended by representatives of various universities in Korea.

The main purpose of the visit is to create opportunities for mutual cooperation between business entities of the two countries, as well as to assist the business circles of Uzbekistan in studying the experience of South Korea in the field of technology and IT.

Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan M. Adilov noted the interest of Uzbek enterprises in cooperation with Korea, as well as the opportunity to learn from the experience of the country, which is one of the leaders in robotics and technology in general.

M. Adilov suggested considering the possibility of creating a single platform for entrepreneurs of Uzbekistan and Korea in order to simplify the process of finding partners and conducting negotiations between them.

Mr. Lee Beom Hee, in turn, noted that, based on the experience of Korean entrepreneurs, finding partners through platforms truly simplifies the task of getting acquainted with goods and negotiating, but in the future, the parties should establish live contact.

Also, the foreign side noted its readiness to attract the business community of Korea to develop the platform and expand cooperation opportunities.

During the meeting, the guests also got acquainted with the activities of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as business opportunities in our republic.

As a result of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and the Korean company UAIDE, as well as between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and the Korean National Changwon University.
