Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Deputy khokim - head of the investment and foreign trade department Sharof Rakhmanov met with an official delegation from the Ryazan region of the Russian Federation at the Tashkent khokimiyat.

The delegation was headed by the Minister of Economic Development of the Ryazan region Andrey Vorfolomeev, who thanked for the warm welcome and suggested considering areas of mutually beneficial cooperation, noting that currently partnerships in the textile and agricultural sectors are well developed between Uzbekistan and the Ryazan region, and I would like to expand the range of economic relations and in other areas, such as energy, construction, digitalization, urban planning, household waste disposal, etc.

During the meeting, representatives of the parties reviewed and discussed promising areas for joint projects. Sh. Rakhmanov acquainted the Russians with updates and changes in the capital, spoke about projects implemented jointly with investors, noted that the priority is the issue of further development of Tashkent and the creation of decent living conditions for the population.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to comprehensively work out all aspects of cooperation.
