A meeting with fellow citizens takes place at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Israel

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In connection with numerous requests received from fellow citizens in Israel, yesterday a meeting was held in the building of the Embassy of Uzbekistan on compliance with security measures in Israel, Dunyo news agency reported.

According to the Embassy, the event was held both offline and online. Our citizens were given detailed explanations by representatives of the Embassy on strict adherence to security protocols in the host country. In particular, the need to stay in bomb shelters during rocket attacks, limit access to the city, and avoid crowded places was indicated.

Citizens’ attention was drawn to the need to rely only on information published on the official telegram messenger and social media pages of the diplomatic mission, where appeals to compatriots are posted on an ongoing basis.

The request was again made to citizens to register with the consulate, since this information is primarily important for providing them with emergency assistance in emergency situations.

The head of the representative office of Uzbekistan Airways, Ayubkhon Abdoollayev, noted that the flights of the national airline operate strictly according to schedule. He provided detailed information about the flight schedule in the Tashkent-Tel Aviv-Tashkent direction, about air ticket prices, and also answered all questions.

A representative of the consular department of the embassy answered all related questions of citizens of Uzbekistan of a consular and legal nature.

“The Embassy expresses gratitude to the citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan who took part in the event and hopes that it was useful and educational,” says a message on the telegram channel of the diplomatic mission. “We draw the attention of our citizens that one of the main tasks of the Embassy is to protect their rights and legitimate interests, as well as to provide them with consular and legal assistance outside the republic.”

According to the Embassy, about 10 thousand citizens of Uzbekistan live in Israel and are engaged in temporary work activities.
