Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ambassador Ravshan Usmanov in London met with Advisor to the President of Uzbekistan on economic development, effective governance and international cooperation Suma Chakrabarti, Dunyo news agency reported.

The parties discussed a plan for joint work to develop proposals aimed at implementing the reform program in Uzbekistan. This, in particular, is modernization and increasing the competitiveness of key sectors of the economy, transforming and increasing the efficiency of public administration, digitalization of all spheres of society, creating a favorable investment and business environment, and training highly qualified personnel.

Particular attention was paid to improving the quality of education in Uzbekistan, developing cooperation between leading universities and research centers of the two countries in order to increase awareness of the UK academic community about the processes in Central Asia.
