Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 27 November 2023, the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan Ismatulla Irgashev met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Uzbekistan Aurelia Bouchez.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of Uzbek-French relations in the Afghan direction, as well as the development of the current situation in Afghanistan.

Particular attention was focused on issues of ensuring regional security and cooperation in resolving the Afghan problem.

Aurelia Bouchez emphasized the significant role of Uzbekistan in establishing long-term peace and the economic revival of Afghanistan, as well as involving the country in regional integration processes.
