Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - A meeting was held in Astana between the heads of the railways of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, where important issues of developing and strengthening bilateral cooperation in the railway industry were discussed. The meeting was held by the Chairman of the Board of Uzbekistan Temir Yollari JSC Z. Narzullaev and the General Director of the State Enterprise NC Kyrgyz Temir Zholu A. Sakiev.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of increasing transportation volumes between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, as well as accelerating the implementation of joint infrastructure projects. They expressed their readiness to cooperate in creating new transport corridors and developing existing routes for the efficient movement of goods.
