Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a meeting was held between Advisor to the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Saidkomil Saidnazirkhanov with the delegation of Hunan Province led by Wei Shuping, Deputy Mayor of the People's Government of Hunan City.

The meeting was also attended by representatives of Chinese manufacturers of building materials and thermal insulation, edible oil and tea.

During the meeting, the parties noted the stable development of trade, economic and investment cooperation between Uzbekistan and China.

S. Saidnazikhanov told the Chinese side about the activities of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, about the benefits and preferences created for foreign companies in the republic.

The parties also discussed additional opportunities for expanding cooperation between the business communities of the two countries. In particular, the foreign side noted the fact that in Uzbekistan there is a high demand for Chinese tea of various varieties.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue discussing issues of further cooperation, in particular, organizing bilateral meetings between Uzbek and Chinese companies in B2B format in the food, agricultural, construction and other fields, the press service of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry reports.
