Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The XXI meeting of the Interstate Council on Industrial Safety was held in Tashkent on 4 – 5 October. This was reported by the press service of the CIS Executive Committee.

Representatives of state supervisory authorities in the field of industrial safety from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and the CIS Executive Committee participated in the work of the Council.

The meeting participants summed up the work for 2022–2023, reviewed the progress of implementation of the Plan of Main Actions for the implementation of the Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Ensuring Industrial Safety at Hazardous Production Facilities for 2021–2026.

Members of the Council exchanged information on changes in national legislation in the field of regulation of industrial safety at hazardous production facilities and activities in this direction during the year, considered issues related to the methodology for organizing state supervision of the state of industrial safety at mining sites, metallurgical production and waste management explosive materials, as well as issues of bilateral and international cooperation.

The next meeting of the Interstate Council on Industrial Safety is proposed to be held in 2024 in Tajikistan.
