Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 7 November, within the framework of the visit of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Canada to the Republic of Uzbekistan Alison LeClaire, a meeting of the Canadian-Eurasian Chamber of Commerce (CECC) was held in Tashkent with the participation of representatives of leading companies, organizations and departments.

The event was also held online for members of the CECC Board of Directors in Canada and other countries.

At the event, the head of the department of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Oleg Ryzhichenko made a presentation, familiarizing the participants of the meeting with the activities of the Chamber, and also spoke about the support of representatives of Canadian circles in conducting economic and other activities on the territory of Uzbekistan.

It is worth noting that since April 2022, on the basis of the Protocol of the National Board of Directors and member organizations, CERBA (Canada Eurasia Russia Business Association) has been renamed CECC, the Canadian-Eurasian Chamber of Commerce, and the CERBA Representative Office in the Republic of Uzbekistan has been re-registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the CECC branch in Uzbekistan. CECC is the legal successor of CERBA.
