Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Russian government is ready to take on a number of key risks. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree required to launch the mechanism.
The main goal of SZPK is to improve the business climate and strengthen business interest in Russian jurisdiction. It spells out guarantees of the invariability of conditions for a long period, depending on the industry and the volume of investments.
The term of the agreement depends on the amount of investment and ranges from 6 to 20 years. By the end of 2020, 20 agreements will be signed for 900 billion rubles. By 2024, the total amount of funds will grow to 14.1 trillion rubles.
The Agreement on the Protection and Promotion of Investments contains the principles of state support, taxation conditions and provides for the following basic conditions.
First, the rules for concluding agreements between the state and investors are approved. The parties cooperate in the development and implementation of investment policies in relation to economic entities in order to ensure mutual protection of the interests of the parties in this area.
Secondly, companies operating under the NWPC are established, the procedure for payment of various compensations, which will reduce infrastructure costs and reduce debt burden. This is to cover the costs of construction and modernization of transport, energy, utilities and information systems necessary for the successful launch of investment projects.
Third, the federal budget will reimburse the cost of paying interest on loans and bonded loans raised for investment purposes. The refund will take 5 to 11 years depending on the terms of the agreement.
In general, according to experts, the creation of a favorable investment climate in the Russian economy will act as a prerequisite for the growth of capital investments. Analysts believe that only by attracting capital investment is it possible to improve the social and economic situation in Russia, as well as to strengthen the country's position in world markets.
