Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 22 April, a man killed his wife out of jealousy in Bukhara. This was announced by the representative of the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office, Khayot Shamstudinov.

The incident occurred in Karakul district. A quarrel arose between a man and his wife due to jealousy, as a result of which the man stabbed his wife several times. The woman died from her wounds.

In this case, a criminal case was opened under Article 97 (Intentional murder).

The man was detained and an investigation is currently underway.
