Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Construction of another hydroelectric power station is planned in the Izbaskan district of Andijan region.

The project will be implemented jointly with partners from China.

The Chinese delegation, based on the agreements signed in the PRC, visited the area for a preliminary study of the construction project, the press service of the regional khokimiyat stated.

In this area, one hydroelectric power station is already being built together with Chinese partners with a capacity of 3.2 MW. This station will provide electricity to 1/3 of the district’s territory.

In early January, a delegation from the Andijan region visited China. During the visit, agreements were reached on the construction of hydroelectric power stations in 10 districts of Andijan region.

In this area, one hydroelectric power station is already being built together with Chinese partners with a capacity of 3.2 MW. This station will provide electricity to 1/3 of the district’s territory.
