A General Agreement was signed between the University of Wolverhampton and the International Digital University

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Vice-Chancellor of the University of Wolverhampton (University of Wolverhampton), Professor Ebrahim Adia, arrived in Uzbekistan for this purpose.

The signing of the Agreement means that the University of Wolverhampton, included in the TOP 1000 universities in the world according to Times Higher Education, is a validation partner of IDU (Uzbekistan), which allows graduates of joint programs to receive a British diploma while studying in Tashkent.

IDU will provide education to University of Wolverhampton standards, based entirely on its courses. Education is designed for 4 years, of which the first year of study is spent on the IDU program itself and three years on the program of a British university.

“We are confident that the level of IDU graduates will be at the same high level as our other students in different countries. Today, around 6,000 students around the world study on our courses outside of England. Studying and diplomas at partner universities in France, Hong Kong, China, Nigeria, South Africa, and now Uzbekistan, go through the same quality control system, thereby ensuring their full compliance with the high level of British education,” notes Ebrahim Adia.

International Digital University began its activities in Tashkent in September 2021 and since the beginning of its foundation has undergone a validation process according to the standards of the University of Wolverhampton. The initiators of the creation of IDU are Ibrohim Khurramov (founder of the Study Tokyo network of educational centers), as well as Shokhrukh Shamsutditov (development company NovaStroy).

Having passed all the necessary stages, IDU was recognized as worthy to become the first partner of the University of Wolverhampton in Uzbekistan and in the Central Asia region.

“One of the important arguments in favor of choosing IDU as a partner university is that management and staff are well aware of the importance of ensuring the quality of education provided,” says Ebrahim Adia.

Currently, IDU students are studying in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, and Computer Technology.

Business lines are planned to be launched this year. The university is focused on providing wide access to modern IT education to all segments of the population. For these purposes, it is planned to both expand the types of education and open branches in the regions of Uzbekistan.

During the visit, Professor Ebrahim Adia also held negotiations at the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the IT Park of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
