A film about the nature of Romania to be screened in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On Monday, 28 March 2022, a documentary film Untamed Romania will be screened in Tashkent.

The event was organized by the Romanian Embassy in the Republic of Uzbekistan in partnership with the French Alliance in Tashkent and the French Embassy in Uzbekistan.

The film reveals the stunning beauty of Romanian nature. In 2018, the film received the Golden Dolphin in Cannes in the nomination "Best film about nature, environment and ecology" at the international festival Corporate Media & TV Awards.

"Untamed Romania" will now attract the attention of Uzbek viewers.

This event takes place at 18:00 at the French Alliance (address: 112 Zulfiyahonim St.) and opens the Francophonie Week in Tashkent. Film language: English with French subtitles. Film duration: 1h.30.

Romania pays special attention to the development of relations with the Republic of Uzbekistan, including in the field of culture. In January of this year, the Embassy of Romania in Tashkent and the National Library of Uzbekistan named after Alisher Navoi organized the exhibition "Romania's Contribution to the World Heritage". In February 2022, the Romanian Embassy in Uzbekistan and the Tashkent House of Photography held a photo exhibition together about the work of the great sculptor Constantin Brancusi.
