Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- During the period from 3 to 6 September, a delegation of Uzbekneftegaz visited the USA, during which negotiations were held with the management of the world’s largest companies, such as Air Products, Honeywell Process Solutions, Schlumberger, Exxon Mobil, as well as Vortex Tools and Solar Turbines. This was reported by the information service of Uzbekneftegaz LLC.

During bilateral meetings with American companies, the parties discussed the current state of implementation of joint projects, and also separately considered promising areas of cooperation.

In particular, during the conversation with the President of the Air Products company S. Ghassemi, special attention was paid to the issue of developing new projects in the energy industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The visit also included a visit to the Air Products Technology Center.

A fruitful meeting was held with the Executive Vice President of Schlumberger, H. Al Mogarbel, at which current joint cooperation was discussed, as well as further plans were made to work aimed at increasing hydrocarbon production and accelerating geological exploration for oil and gas.

Development plans for projects for deep processing of hydrocarbons and synthetic products were discussed with the long-term partner of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, Honeywell Process Solutions. The delegation was received by the company president P. Maheshwari.

Negotiations with the Vice President of Exxon Mobil, Mrs. N. Vaughn, were productive. The parties discussed prospects for expanding cooperation in the field of licensing processes for deep refining of oil and petroleum products, including basic design, detailed engineering, support for project implementation and other areas.

The company’s capabilities for the production of gas turbine engines for the energy industry and hydrogen production were discussed with the Solar Turbines company. At the same time, the parties agreed to explore the possibility of creating a service center in Uzbekistan, taking into account potential volumes in the country.

Potential areas of cooperation were discussed with the president of Vortex Tools A. Miller. The American side proposed possible solutions to increase the flow of natural gas at wells. Following the meeting, the parties decided to exchange the necessary information to study the possibility of using Vortex Tools technology in the production processes of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
