Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of Uzbekistan led by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy and Finance Jamshid Kuchkarov took part in the XIII Annual Investment Meeting (AIM Congress 2024) in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates).

Known as the world’s leading investment conference, the platform brings together industry leaders, policymakers and investors from around the world to discuss trends and opportunities in the global investment landscape.

During the event, the delegation of Uzbekistan held a series of bilateral meetings aimed at strengthening trade relations and exploring new investment opportunities. These negotiations help advance Uzbekistan’s strategic initiatives in important areas such as agriculture, energy and technology, which are critical to the country’s economic growth and stability.

The delegation also took part in various panel discussions and sessions, exchanging views on reforms important for improving the investment climate in Uzbekistan and business conditions in the country. The sessions reflected recent legislative reforms aimed at improving incentives for foreign direct investment and increasing transparency in business transactions.
