Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Otabek Makhkamov took part in the event, which took place in Moscow on 18 April.

It discussed issues of establishment in 2024-2026 the badge “Honorary Education Worker of the SCO”, action plans for the implementation of the “Agreement between the governments of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization on cooperation in the field of education” and improving the quality of education in higher educational institutions.

During the event, bilateral negotiations took place with the ministries of higher education of the organization’s member countries.

It is worth noting that the present mechanism of cooperation between the ministers of education of the SCO countries has been in effect since 2006.
