Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), headed by its head Davron Vakhabov, visited the UAE to promote the export potential of Uzbekistan, Dunyo news agency reported.

During the visit, meetings were held at the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Dubai and Sharjah. In addition, the Uzbek delegation took part in the conference "Ways to deepen economic cooperation between the UAE and Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan", which was also attended by businessmen from the UAE, representatives of the CCI of four countries and foreign diplomats.

At the event, a presentation was made of the investment and export potential of Uzbekistan, preferences created in the country for exporters of national products, and the logistics chains for the supply of products of Uzbek manufacturers to the UAE and the countries of the Middle East were discussed.

Based on the results, further steps on bilateral cooperation were discussed with foreign partners who showed great interest in products manufactured in Uzbekistan, as well as in the conditions for doing business in the country.
