Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 6 to 8 May, a delegation led by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bobur Usmanov, is on a working visit to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

During the visit, the seventh round of Uzbek-Mongolian political consultations took place. The delegation of Uzbekistan also held meetings with the President of the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Mongolia, D. Enkhtuvshin, as well as with the ministries and departments of Mongolia.

The business circles of Uzbekistan and Mongolia held a round table where they discussed issues of cooperation in the trade, economic and investment spheres.

During the events, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan presented the investment potential of Uzbekistan and information about the conditions created for entrepreneurs in the country.

Information was also presented on the activities of the companies "Mongol Basalt" and "Tavan Bogd Solution", and the possibility of establishing cooperation in the exchange of experience and the creation of joint ventures was expressed.

The Uzbek company "Ezel Central Asia" is interested in opening a modern high-tech slaughter plant and expanding the export of fruits and vegetables to Mongolia.

As a result of the event, an agreement was reached to sign a memorandum of understanding and an agreement on the creation of the Uzbek-Mongolian Business Council as part of a high-level visit to Uzbekistan.

In addition, following the results of the round table, meetings were organized in the B2G format with the participation of the business community of Mongolia and representatives of ministries and departments of Uzbekistan.
