Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of Uzbekistan headed by Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbayeva is on a working visit to Geneva, Switzerland to attend the 111th session of the International Labor Conference of the International Labor Organization.
Delegations of workers, employers and governments from 187 ILO member countries will discuss a wide range of issues, including: a just transition to a sustainable and inclusive economy, quality apprenticeship programs and labor protection.
For information, it is worth mentioning that every year in June, representatives of 187 member countries of the International Labor Organization gather at the International Labor Conference in Geneva.
The International Labor Conference adopts ILO conventions and recommendations developed by representatives of governments, workers and employers. Conventions are legally binding international agreements that can be ratified by ILO member states.
