A delegation of Uzbekistan familiarized with the activities of leading high-tech companies in China

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of Uzbekistan got acquainted with the activities of China’s leading high-tech companies in the city of Shenzhen.

The delegation of Uzbekistan, which included representatives of 20 state and non-state media in the country, visited China from August 2 to 9, 2019.

Representatives of the Uzbek media visited the showroom of the high-tech company IngDan, which is helping new startups to implement their projects.

IngDan company collaborates with leading companies in the world and uses their technology. Based on modern technology, Chinese developers and manufacturers, IngDan company produces modern devices.

IngDan’s senior PR manager Sabrina Li noted that the company produces various devices for consumers and industry.

In particular, the company produces various educational products for children. IngDan’s product line includes training robots, designers, etc.

The company also promotes products based on face recognition. For example, it offers a solution to ensure the safety of workers in construction sites. Another solution helps people choose clothes.

IngDan has developed several healthcare and automotive solutions. In particular, IngDan solutions are used in the manufacture of Toyota vehicles.

One of the activities of IngDan is development of solutions for smart apartments. The company offers products for managing some of the processes of apartments using voice commands.

Li emphasized that IngDan offers various “smart” products for consumers - watches, drones, speakers, etc.

The company also offers robotic manufacturing equipment, which are used in various industries.

Sabina Li said that IngDan also conducts research and manufactures custom-made products. In particular, among the customers of the company are representatives from the USA.

The delegation of Uzbekistan also visited the headquarters of Huawei in Shenzhen, where they got acquainted with 5G mobile communication technology.

Huawei is a leading global provider of information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure equipment and solutions and a smart device provider. About 188,000 people operate in 170 countries and regions around the world.

The Chinese company is now one of the world’s leading manufacturers of 5G mobile communications technology.

Today, Huawei has already signed 50 contracts for 5G and delivered more than 150,000 base stations. 5G commercial networks are increasingly used around the world.

According to Huawei, 5G technology will provide a powerful impetus to the growth of global GDP. The contribution of 5G technology could reach US$3.9 billion. At the same time, the new technology will create up to 22 million jobs.

During the presentation, it was noted that Huawei has developed several types of 5G base stations for the mobile operators. Operators can choose standard base stations and stations that are built into external lighting fixtures.

At the moment, the company has developed more than 95 devices with 5G support from modems to smartphones.

5G technology will lead to the revision of some professions and the creation of new ones. For example, excavator drivers work in the mining industry. When automating the mining process using 5G technology, excavators will be remotely controlled by operators with IT skills.

The new technology will also improve the management processes of urban infrastructure and services, as well as improve the quality of public services.
