Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of Uzbekistan led by Major General Aziz Tashpulatov, head of the Tashkent city police department, took part in the 3rd Meeting of the heads of the capital departments of the internal affairs bodies of the CIS member states, which was held in Baku.

The meeting was also attended by the director of the CIS BKBOP O. Konovalov and the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan V. Eyvazov, the heads of the capital divisions of the internal affairs bodies of Azerbaijan (Baku), Belarus (Minsk), Kazakhstan (Astana), Kyrgyzstan (Bishkek), Russia ( Moscow) and Tajikistan (Dushanbe).

During the meeting, the participants discussed the state of combating crime in the territory of the CIS member states. In particular, all leaders noted that despite the decrease in traditional types of crimes, there is a significant increase in crimes related to the use of information and communication technologies and the Internet. Effective methods of combating cybercrime have been proposed.

As a result of the meeting, the participants made proposals for maintaining a constructive dialogue in the fight against cybercrime.
