Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 24 to 26 May, the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Davron Vakhabov was on a working visit to the Republic of Türkiye.

As part of the visit, a meeting was held with the President of the Gaziantep Chamber of Industry, Adnan Unverdi. During the meeting, key issues of economic cooperation and investment opportunities were discussed.

Davron Vakhabov told the meeting participants about favorable conditions for conducting investment and business activities in Uzbekistan, as well as about areas that attract foreign investors. Particular attention was paid to the textile and leather and footwear industries.

Adnan Unverdi expressed interest in expanding cooperation between Türkiye and Uzbekistan and emphasized the importance of strengthening economic ties and sharing experience between businessmen of both countries.

The meeting was also attended by the Chairman of the Board of Halk Bank, Shukhrat Atabaev, and the First Deputy Chairman of the Uzcharmsanoat Association, Akbar Sultonov.
