Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At the initiative of the Tourism Committee, in order to promote the tourism potential of the city of Samarkand around the world, the delegation of Samarkand region takes part in the prestigious international tourism fair “Montreal International Tourism and Travel Show - 2023”.

At an international event held in Canada, the delegation of Samarkand region presents its products and tourism services in order to attract foreign tourists to the region and ensure mutually beneficial cooperation.

In particular, members of the delegation held bilateral meetings with foreign travel companies and representatives of foreign travel agencies. During the meetings, foreigners were provided with complete information about the tourism potential of Samarkand region, the capabilities of the international airport, the ongoing work in the area of training personnel in the field of tourism, infrastructure facilities created in the region for tourists, as well as about the rich historical and cultural heritage of the Uzbek people.

The 33rd Annual Montreal International Travel and Tourism Expo 2023 is one of the largest travel expos in America. About 50,000 representatives of the tourism industry from more than 100 countries of the world take part in the tourism exhibition with their presentations.
