Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In order to widely cover the tourism potential of Uzbekistan abroad and increase the flow of tourists, the Ministry of tourism and sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan organized a visit of a group of media representatives and bloggers from the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Tourism and Sport said in a statement.
The delegation includes representatives of the popular Kazakhstani TV channel “Khabar”, the official information portal “Tengrinews”, the site “Topress.kz”, the in-flight magazine of the airline “SCAT” and famous bloggers such as Dinara Agalieva, Alexander Tsoi, Yakov Fedorov, who are captivating a page about tourism and have their own audience.
During the info tour, the members of the delegation visited the Khorezm region and got acquainted with the rich history and ancient culture of the country and the ongoing reforms in the field of tourism. Media representatives and bloggers visited Ichan-Kala and Nurullaboy Palace, witnessing the uniqueness of our cultural heritage sites. During the visit, the guests filmed the sights of Khiva and presented them to the media and Internet observers.
The guests also visited the Bukhara region, where they got acquainted with the ancient tourist potential of Ark, the Minorai Kalon, Miri Arab and Nadir Devonbegi madrasahs, the Magoki-Attori mosque, the Samanid mausoleum and the Sitorai Mokhi Khossa palace, as well as the shrine of Bahauddin Naqshbandi.
The delegation members also visited Samarkand and filmed a large media content around Registan Square, the mausoleums of Amir Temur and Islam Karimov, the Shahi Zinda complex, the Bibikhanim and Khazrati Khizr mosques, the Khoja Daniel shrine, the Siyab bazaar and the wonderful tourist village of Konigil.
Representatives of foreign media also visited the Khazrati Imam Complex in Tashkent, the Tashkent City Business Center and the Chorsu Bazaar, paying special attention to the positive changes and current trends in tourism in our country. In particular, the guests were impressed by the mosques of Tashkent, which reflect our beautiful and rich culture.
