Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 6-8 November, A delegation of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan took part in the international forum on the topic “Management of International Reserves” organized by the World Bank in Seoul (Korea), and also held meetings with leading Korean banks.

During the forum, with the participation of the leadership of a number of foreign central banks and international experts, an exchange of experience took place in the field of managing international reserves, ensuring proportionality of monetary policy and reserve management, as well as managing assets and liabilities of the central bank.

Also during the visit, bilateral meetings were held with the Director of the Department of International Partnerships of the World Bank Treasury (RAMP) Marco Ruiz, Deputy Chairman of the Bank of Korea Min Jahong, Managing Director of the Korea Development Bank (KDB) Ju Dong Bin, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Kookmin Bank Paul Jeong Ha, in which ways to further strengthen cooperation were discussed, as well as issues of holding joint events to improve the skills of employees.
