Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A married couple and their two minor daughters died from carbon monoxide poisoning in Ferghana region. This was stated by the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Uzbekistan.
The tragedy occurred on 15 December in a house in the village of Obod, Uzbekistan district, as a result of the use of a homemade iron heating stove connected to natural gas.
The inspection revealed a fault in the furnace exhaust pipe.
According to a preliminary forensic medical examination, it was established that death was caused by acute carbon monoxide poisoning.
Law enforcement agencies will introduce a pre-investigation check.
