Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A citizen was detained in Jizzakh region who promised his friend to send him to the United States through European countries to earn money.

During the operational activity of law enforcement agencies, it turned out that previously convicted citizen A.A. won the trust of citizen Yu.K. and promised to send him to work in the USA through European countries for US$18,000.

The attacker was detained after receiving US$2,000 and 200 million soums.

A criminal case has been initiated against the citizen under Articles 25, 168 (fraud).

The investigation is currently ongoing.
