Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A man died on board a plane flying from Tashkent to Istanbul. The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Turkey stated this.

Earlier it was reported that Uzbekistan Airways flight HY271 Tashkent - Istanbul made an emergency landing in Ankara.

According to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Turkey, a passenger died on board the aircraft.

The deceased, Kh. T. (born in 1946), was heading to Istanbul for treatment of a chronic disease. During the flight he felt himself bad. He had a heart attack.

The man was given first aid on board the plane. He was given a heart massage. Despite this, he died.

The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Turkey is taking the necessary measures and providing assistance in sending Kh.T.’s body to Uzbekistan.
