Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Alisher Usmanov’s Charitable Foundation "Art, Science and Sport", with the assistance of the Art and Culture Development Foundation, organized a concert on Registan Square in Samarkand.

On 25 May, a charity concert of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia under the baton of People’s Artist of Russia, conductor and violinist maestro Vladimir Spivakov took place on Registan Square in Samarkand.

More than 2000 people attended the concert and enjoyed the classical concert in a magical atmosphere. On the historic Registan Square such works as Intermezzo from the opera "Manon Lescaut", Adrienne’s aria from the opera "Adrienne Lecouvreur" ("Ecco respire appena"), Federico’s lament from the opera "Arlesianca" and others sounded.
