Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to the Presidential Decree “On improving the system of admission to higher educational organizations and placing state orders”, admission to master’s degrees and postgraduate education specialties will require availability of a national or international certificate that determines the level of knowledge of a foreign language at the following levels:

- in areas of foreign languages – not lower than level C1;

- in the fields of education in the humanities, biological and related sciences, mathematics and statistics, business and management, law, service, social and behavioral sciences, journalism and information, information and communication technologies - not lower than level B2;

- in other areas of education and specialties (specializations) of culture and sports - not lower than level B1.

By the end of 2024, a list of professions (positions) that are losing their relevance and those emerging again, qualification requirements and competencies for them will be compiled.

By 1 May 2025, based on the collected data, the creation of the electronic platform “Atlas of New Professions of Uzbekistan” and its annual updating will be ensured.
