Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the activities of the Art soft ceramics enterprise in the city of Kuvasay.

The enterprise, which began work in December last year, is capable of producing almost 3 million square meters of porcelain stoneware products per year. Today, 350 workers and specialists work here.

Thanks to full localization, the company's products are supplied to the market at prices much lower than foreign counterparts. It is planned that 35 percent of the output will be exported to Russia, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan.

The head of state noted the importance of increasing the export performance of the enterprise and the city of Kuvasay as a whole. To this end, instructions were given on establishing cooperation with foreign industrial zones and increasing jobs.
