A brand-new teletainment startup OQ is launched in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- OQ is a startup that integrates communication services with media, allowing users to connect to the network remotely in a matter of minutes. The key concepts of OQ include independent service selection, individual tariff formation, and fair payment.

The name "OQ," which translates from Uzbek as "white, clean, transparent," reflects the values of the new generation—openness, freedom of expression, and choice. This color symbolizes the philosophy of "freedom in choosing" clarity, emphasizing absolute transparency of calculations and conditions for users. OQ does not impose any content and has no hidden fees.

The release of this innovative application was made possible due to investments from global digital operator VEON Group, which established a strategic partnership with a team of specialists from Uzbekistan. The creators of OQ have experience in the telecom industry with national and international IT companies.

One of the most significant advantages of OQ is the possibility of registering remotely in the mobile application in a matter of minutes using the integrated MyID biometric identity verification technology. As a result, modern-day users have more flexibility in deciding when and where to connect to the telecommunications network. With OQ, clients can combine services and choose entertainment content according to their preferences. OQ provides access to streaming music on Stingray online radio and licensed films from the golden fund of Uzbek cinema in high quality without any additional charges. The media content in the application will be constantly complemented, and in the near future, exclusive content created for OQ will also become available.

"OQ provides an entirely new level of user freedom. The client chooses where and when to connect the app and creates his or her own service and entertainment package. We believe that our startup will transform the traditional telecommunications market and change the consumer habits of the people in Uzbekistan," stated Abdulaziz Mansurov, Head of the OQ project.

The priority of free choice and self-expression is also reflected in the opportunities for users to collaborate with the brand through social initiatives, which will be available directly in the application. Each client can decide which charity project to select and support through OQ.

"We are delighted to welcome a new telecommunications startup in Uzbekistan! The brand OQ fully represents a modern approach to providing services to tech-savvy customers, combining communication services, entertainment, and charity,” commented Andrzej Malinowski, CEO of Beeline Uzbekistan (a subsidiary of VEON Group).
