Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 10 February, at about 20:00, a 10-year-old boy, a third-grade student, died on the territory of school No. 259 in Yunusabad district of Tashkent.

A child came to the school playground to play football. During the game, he told his friends that he needed to go to the toilet. His friends later found him unconscious near the school fence.

The school’s deputy director took the student to the hospital, where doctors pronounced him clinically dead.

A preliminary forensic medical examination revealed that the child had bilateral pneumonia, acute respiratory failure, and swelling of the brain and lungs.

An investigation is currently underway.
