7 Korean cartoons are planned to be broadcast on the children’s television channel “Aqlvoy” in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 12 September, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Republic of Uzbekistan and the children’s TV channel “Aqlvoy” signed an agreement on the free broadcast of Korean cartoons.

The agreement program included only 7 cartoons such as “DoReMi DALIMI”, “Chatty TORITORI”, “PotenDogs”, “The Little Stone DODO”, “Virtual Guardians”, “BANZI’s Secret Diary”, “MOMBA&MOMI’s Exciting Bodyventure”. The Korea International Broadcasting Foundation (KIBF) granted the right to broadcast cartoons free of charge. The Aqlvoy TV channel plans to start broadcasting cartoons in mid-October this year.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Mr. Kim Hee-sang, during the signing of an agreement on the free broadcast of Korean cartoons with the Director of the Aqlvoy TV channel, Ms. Fidel Vela, noted that the broadcast of Korean cartoons on the Aqlvoy TV channel is a joyful event, and also expressed the hope that the long-term broadcast of Korean cartoons will contribute to the education of children of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Channel Director Ms. Fidel Vela expressed her deep gratitude for the provision of Korean broadcast content and requested continued continuous cooperation with the Korean side to broadcast various Korean content.

The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Republic of Uzbekistan will provide the Uzbek people with the opportunity to come into contact with the diversity of Korean content such as Korean TV series, cartoons, etc. And the Embassy also plans to actively work to strengthen the cultural and spiritual connecting bridge between the peoples of our countries.
