Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - In Uzbekistan, 40 hygiene norms and rules will be brought into line with international standards.
This is envisaged by the resolution of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev “On additional measures to deepen reforms in the healthcare sector.”
The implementation of this initiative is planned for 2024, taking into account the requirements of the World Trade Organization.
Also this year, 200 graduates of medical universities will undergo training in foreign educational institutions and centers to improve medical care in the regions, with funding from the state fund for the development of medicine.
A two-stage system for assessing the knowledge of medical students will also be introduced starting this year.
