Foreign Ministers of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan discuss bilateral relations

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov held talks with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Erlan Abdyldaev in Bishkek on 16 August.
Abdulaziz Kamilov was in Bishkek within the governmental delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan headed by the Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov.
The foreign ministers of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan discussed the state and prospects of bilateral relations, progress in implementation of the agreements reached at the meetings and summit talks in December 2016 in Samarkand, and in June 2017 Astana.
Abdulaziz Kamilov and Erlan Abdyldaev praised the fruitful outcomes of the meetings of the Uzbek-Kyrgyz intergovernmental commission on bilateral cooperation and the intergovernmental commission on delimitation and demarcation of the borders in Bishkek, which were chaired by the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov .
The parties agreed to actively develop mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation, which today acquires new dynamics, deepen cooperation in the spheres of transport, agriculture and water resources, energy, culture, health, education and science, tourism.
The two sides exchanged views on the date and agenda of the forthcoming visit at the highest level.
Uzbek Foreign Minister officially invited Erlan Abdyldaev to take part in the International Conference on the Safety and Sustainable Development in Central Asia, which Uzbekistan plans to hold under UN auspices in November in Samarkand.
