The cozy yard of Usto-Shogird School of Ceramics was filled with an atmosphere of inspiration and gravitation to light. Prominent artists, art historians, diplomats, public figures, journalists and admirers of the Rakhimovs` creative work came together to attend the opening of the exhibition “A Thousand and One Lamps”.

"Barkamol Avlod - Yurtimiz Kelajagi" ("Spiritual developed generation is the future of our country") - this is the title of the concert given by Youth Symphony Orchestra and students of the Uspensky National specialized music academic lyceum. The concert was organized by the Fund Forum, the Office of Tashkent secondary special institutions and Uspensky Liceum on May 18 in the Great Hall of the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan.

A New York painter known for blending ancient and modern artistic visions to create images of the natural world recently toured Uzbekistan, where she taught classes to art students, visited rock petro glyphs in Navoi Region, and painted pottery using ceramics techniques that have been used for centuries in Central Asia.

Han-atlas 2010 festival will take place at the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry. The Fund Forum and Uzbekistan Designers Association support the project. The festival will have several interesting events, including atlas exhibitions, scientific-practical seminars, fashion show, etc.

On 8-9 May, historical Khiva played host to the Third Festival of Traditional Culture Asrlar Sadosi (Echo of centuries), which is organized annually by the Fund Forum and UNESCO Representative Office in Uzbekistan.

The second day of the Asrlar Sadosi (Echo of Centuries) Festival of Traditional Culture started with a pilaf event organized in commemoration of May 9, Memory and Honour Day in Uzbekistan, and to honour World War II veterans and to extend to them congratulations.
