Central Asia’s emerging markets will continue flocking to mobile telecom services over the next five years, with subscriber bases growing about 13% per year and revenues growing by 8% annually through 2013, according to a new report from Pyramid Research, the telecom research arm of the Light Reading Communications Network.

Rules on rendering mobile services will enter into force on 16 February 2009. The Uzbek Agency for Communication and Information approved the rules on 4 January 2009 and Justice Ministry registered it on 6 February 2009.
